About Axel
I studied French language and literature for 3 years at the University of Bordeaux and then obtained a Master's degree in Creative Writing. From this year I'm going to do a degree in Applied Foreign Languages in English and Spanish and then prepare a diploma in teaching French as a Foreign Language. I've been teaching for several years on various platforms to a variety of audiences and my students have always succeeded in achieving their objectives. I'm also a writer and my interests are eclectic, ranging from politics to literature and sport.

I offer French lessons adapted to the needs and profiles of each learner, using a communicative, caring and structured approach. My methods combine oral expression, comprehension, contextualised grammar and interaction. I use a variety of media (text, audio, video, role-playing) to stimulate active participation and build confidence.
Each session follows a clear sequence: a time for discussion to start, a main activity based on a theme or skill, a targeted language point (grammar or conjugation), followed by a written or oral production activity. I finish with detailed feedback and, if necessary, suggestions for personal work.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to listen, my adaptability and my desire to help each student progress at their own pace. I have experience of working with a wide range of people (teenagers, adults, professionals) and I make it a point of honour to create a climate of trust and interest in the French language and culture.
My classes are aimed at learners from A2 to C1 level, whether they are students, professionals or enthusiasts. I can help people who are preparing for an exam (DELF, DALF, TCF), who want to improve their written or oral expression, or who simply want to communicate in French in a dynamic and personalised environment.
