About Siobhan
I am a fluent, bilingual French speaker with an academic background in languages. My own journey of learning French allows me to understand exactly what it takes to master it from scratch. I know the common hurdles, the tricky pronunciation rules, and the grammar pitfalls because I have navigated them myself.
I fell in love with French because of its incredible depth, beauty, and the doors it opens to connecting with people worldwide. I want to teach because I want to demystify the language for my students and prove that anyone can become fluent with the right support. There is nothing better than helping a student overcome their fear of speaking and watching their confidence soar as they fall in love with the language just like I did.

My French lessons are completely tailored to your personal goals, focusing on building real-world confidence from day one. I believe the best way to learn a language is to speak it, so we will focus heavily on interactive conversation, proper pronunciation, and useful everyday vocabulary. Instead of memorising dry textbook grammar, we will use authentic materials like French news clips, podcasts, short stories, and music to learn the language naturally.
I keep our sessions relaxed and supportive, giving you plenty of room to make mistakes and learn at your own pace. Whether you are learning for travel, moving abroad, or personal enrichment, I adapt every lesson to keep you motivated and speaking French fluently.
