About Marie
FRENCH LANGUAGE ASSISTANT since 2011 -
Part time, temporary. KS3,4, 5.
Training students of all abilities. Oral training, phonetics, grammar. Written skills. Assisting the teacher in the classroom. At KS5, about 5 students per year.
Current : Neston High School, from 2015. Past employer include : St Edward College, The Grange School Hartford and the Blue Coat School.
And LJMU : French assistant with PGCE students and qualified teacher willing to teach French KS3 and 4 alongside their main degree subject.
French Tutor for adults (eg. Cactus Language school, adults evening courses A1-C1)
French Tutor - private tuition for GSCE (1 student, current, grade expected A)
- Oxbridge entrance oral examinations (2 students from the Blue Coat, 1 got an offer from Cambridge, 1 from Oxford )
In France, I also teach history of theatre to BA students - since 2012 (30h course)
From 2006 to 2012 I worked as manager with various cultural organizations in France (festivals, music ensembles, playhouses)

Well, we discuss your needs and I'll adjust the lessons.
Wether you're a complete beginner, or advanced learner, or if you just want to brush up on your French, I am flexible. I use a wide range of strategies to appeal to all learning styles. I love theatre, music, foreign languages, writing and I am always keen on sharing my passion for French language and cultureS.
From "textbook" approach (grammar, phonetics, vocab) to "informal conversation", in groups or B to B, I always make sure that the challenge of learning French is fun.
I can help your son or daughter with GSCE, both former and new curriculum, AS and A levels (AQA+ Welsh board).
