Techniques and Teaching Methodology: I focus on building a deep understanding from the basics to more advanced topics. My method involves breaking down concepts into simpler parts, ensuring clarity at every step. After teaching, I ask students to explain the topic back to me to confirm their understanding. I also provide challenging tasks to push their problem-solving skills, and we go through the solutions together once they’ve attempted them on their own.
Typical Length of a Lesson: The length of a lesson depends on the student's understanding and pace. I adapt the duration to ensure they grasp the material fully, typically ranging from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours.
Qualifications/Experience: I served as a student tutor during high school, helping my peers understand math and basic programming concepts. I am also a frontend engineer with practical programming experience, and I earned a B2 in Mathematics.
Who Are My Lessons For: My lessons are designed for higher primary and Junior Secondary School (JSS) students, typically aged 10-15, who want to excel in mathematics and basic programming.
