I am a graduate from Durham University and have now been teaching English Literature/Language for over 4 years. I have a strong love of books and poetry, and this passion is seen through my teaching. Perfect! Molly has been an outstanding English tutor for my daughter during her A-levels. In just a short amount of time, she provided incredibly focused and effective support, particularly with The Great Gatsby and creative writing. Impressively, the storyline that appeared in the exam was very similar to one they had explored in their session just days before, which gave my daughter a real edge and boosted her confidence.
Molly is professional, friendly, and truly brings out the best in her students. I’ve been so impressed with her tutoring that I’ve already asked her to begin working with my son in September when he starts his GCSEs. I am pleased to highly recommend Molly as an outstanding English Literature and Language tutor. Molly demonstrated exceptional patience and expertise while working with my child, who initially struggled with reading. She used engaging techniques that made learning enjoyable and accessible, especially for my daughter who HATED Shakespeare. Thanks to Molly’s dedicated support and empathy, my child’s reading skills improved significantly and she went up two grades in her GCSEs. Molly is a very diligent tutor who adapts lessons to meet the needs of their pupils. In particular, Molly uses a multi-media approach to help pupils to be able to access those trickier texts like Shakespeare. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the ‘No Fear Shakespeare’ lessons which Molly adapted to help her, as she often found it difficult to understand the text due to English not being her first language.
