About Abby
Teaching Music is one of the biggest joys in my life. I knew from a very young age that I wanted to teach Music. I graduated from CSU Bakersfield with a degree in Music Education and also hold a Music Credential and Masters in Education. I have been teaching at the same school for 6 years and have loved every minute of it. I believe that singing, playing, & making music with children is one of the most joyful experiences in the world.

Hello!
My name is Abby Lizaola and I am fortunate enough to be a General Music & Choir teacher in Southern California. I am Kodály certified and believe that music & singing should be JOYFUL! My approach to early childhood music education is primarily play-based. We have loads of fun and learn lots along the way! I currently teach TK-6th music in a public school as well as in a private studio. I am looking to add on private Zoom lessons on weekends. While I specialize in early childhood music education, I am also open to tutoring high school & college students who are actively studying Music Education.

I currently charge $30 per half hour private lesson. I am also open to duet/trio with an adjusted pricing of $10-$15 per student.
