About Thomas
Studying philosophy developed my ability to critically analyse academic research and clearly communicate complex interdisciplinary, philosophical and logical concepts and arguments with excellent accuracy and attention to detail, within challenging time constraints; requiring and developing excellent written communication, critical thinking, planning, time management and research skills.
My philosophy degree and history CertHE as well as first class grades for numerous university assignments, having completed masters level units, and my passion for reading widely, provide me with extensive knowledge in arts and humanities subjects, particularly philosophy, history and ethics, as well as a good understanding of many concepts in politics and law.

A natural teaching ability and a passion for high quality education, as well as a youthful, receptive personality and excellent attention to detail enable and motivate me to precisely evaluate student's unique learning needs, to provide clear feedback and to create inspiring, thought provoking lessons that enable students to realise and exceed their learning goals.
I enjoy teaching English as a foreign language, as I enjoy communicating about thought provoking ideas with people from diverse backgrounds, as well as developing my understanding of how students learn effectively and creating high quality teaching materials.
I am preparing to complete a PGCE and to obtain QTS to become a qualified secondary school teacher.
