About Alexandra
My psychology and neuroscience background has given me extensive knowledge in neurodivergence. I have tutored many students including those with ADHD and autism, and have the experience to understand their needs. I am very patient and supportive as a tutor, with my approach to learning being focused more on understanding maths than memorising maths.

In the first lesson I will come up with a personalised plan for each student’s preferred method of learning (e.g., doing past papers, doing practice questions on topics they struggle with) and content areas to focus on.
My usual method is to go through each topic to learn their strengths and weaknesses, then teach the weaknesses they have in greater detail. Once each student’s topic areas of weakness have improved, we will then move on to doing past papers.
