About Kyra
With over a decade of teaching experience, I help guitar students move beyond basics into real musical understanding. I hold a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Guitar Studies and bring both technical and creative insight into my lessons. My teaching style is clear, practical, and focused.
I specialize in advanced ear training for guitarists. Students learn how to transcribe solos, recognize chord changes, and play by ear. This makes music feel more natural and less dependent on tabs.
I also guide students in developing strong pitch recognition. This skill improves improvisation and overall musicianship.
Together, we build skills that last a lifetime.

My methodology focuses on building strong and versatile guitar skills. I guide students to understand music, not just play it. Learning becomes more meaningful this way.
We work across genres such as funk, metal, jazz, and country. Students learn how techniques change with each style. This helps them adapt easily.
I include exercises for rhythm, lead playing, and improvisation. These skills make playing more natural and expressive.
I also help students explore their creativity and develop their own sound. Growth comes through experimentation and practice.
