About Dom
I've been playing electric and acoustic guitar for 12 years, with a Grade 8 certificate in electric guitar (2016). I have 3 years of teaching experience and would love to have a lesson with you!
With a particular interest in improvisation and solos I've played lead guitar in various soul and rock groups.

I put particular emphasis on teaching through playing rather than through theory. While the latter is important to solidify the basics I believe the fastest way to progress is through practicing your instrument.
My lessons roughly follow the following format:
Warm up - improvisation/games
Lesson Content - be it new chords, scales or a new piece of music I introduce and explain these to my students before we get stuck in.
Practice!
Cool Down - We have fun playing around with something a bit lighter!
Feedback - we discuss things to practice for next time.
