About Eilish
I am an experienced Headteacher with over 20 years in Early Years and Primary education, having led two independent schools in North London. I have extensive first-hand experience of the 4+ and 7+ entry assessment process and a strong understanding of what selective schools are looking for. Through my leadership roles, I have also developed established professional relationships with Heads and senior leaders across many of North London’s leading selective schools. I am passionate about helping children approach learning and assessment with confidence, curiosity and enjoyment.

I offer highly personalised, engaging lessons for children preparing for 4+ and 7+ assessments, as well as individual support across the Early Years and Primary curriculum.
My approach is warm, child-centred and confidence-building. Sessions are carefully tailored to each child’s individual strengths and areas for development, using purposeful games, discussion and practical activities so that learning never feels pressured or overly formal.
For 4+ preparation, I can support early literacy and phonics, number and mathematical understanding, communication and vocabulary, listening and attention, reasoning and problem-solving, fine-motor skills, independence and the confidence to engage naturally with unfamiliar adults and activities.
For older children, I provide targeted support in English and Maths, including 7+ preparation, identifying gaps quickly and building both skills and confidence.
With more than 20 years’ experience in Early Years and Primary education, including extensive experience of London school admissions and assessment, I understand both what schools are looking for and how to prepare children in a way that remains enjoyable, age-appropriate and individual to them.
