About Alan
I am a Canadian teacher who has recently graduated at the end of 2024, and has been teaching ever since, however not just in Canada. In March 2024, I have taught Year 12 AP Biology in Managua, Nicaragua and in 2025, I have taught in Australia for Year 9 Maths and Year 10 Science. In Canada, I have taught Year 11 Economics and Year 12 World History.

My main method in tutoring involves Scaffolding (or the breaking down of instructions; bite-sized learning). Learning is best done when we identify patterns and strategies to combat sophisticated questions. However, learning cannot be done alone. Sharing ideas with your shoulder partner or debating in favour/against an idea are strategies to help you grasp new concepts
