About Bertie
Hello! My name is Bertie, and I’m a dedicated tutor passionate about helping students reach their full potential. With over three years of experience working with primary school-aged children, I focus on building understanding, confidence, and a genuine enjoyment of learning. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to meet individual needs—whether that means breaking down complex ideas into simple steps or providing extra challenges to stretch your thinking. My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and proud of your progress. I take my role seriously and always come prepared, organised, and ready to help you succeed.
