I have been a high school band director, judge for music contests and played professionally. I am a good listener and understand student motivation and student learning styles. I believe that music is about expression and feelings. You may feel it differently than I do and that is great. I see music as a discipline that provides attention to details and requires great patience.

We will try to learn a small piece of a song each lesson so that you can play something and not just do scales and drills. We will have fun!
