About Ann-Kathrin
Hi, my name is Ann-Kathrin. I'm originally from Munich, Germany, and I graduated from secondary school this year. Starting in September 2024, I'll be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mathematics at the University of Glasgow.
I really enjoy working as a tutor for younger children because it enables me to share my passion and positively impact their academic journey.

Over the past four years, I have worked as a private tutor for students, focusing mainly on 6th to 10th graders. During this time, I have consistently helped my students improve their grades through personalized one-on-one sessions in Mathematics and Chemistry. My teaching approach involves identifying the specific areas where each student struggles, and then targeting those issues with tailored explanations and exercises.
In addition to my private tutoring experience, I have been a member of the counseling team at English Education in Munich for the last year and a half. I supervised and taught groups of 12 to 16 children, primarily 1st to 4th graders, in English. This role has given me valuable experience working with younger students in a classroom setting.
A typical tutoring session with me lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the student's needs and attention span. My lessons are designed for students from 1st to 10th grade, who would like to improve their grades in Mathematics and Chemistry.
With my background and experience, I am committed to helping students achieve their academic goals through focused, supportive, and effective teaching.
