About Shanmuga Sundram
“Hi, I’m Shan. I believe math isn’t hard, it’s just taught the wrong way. My goal is to help you understand it clearly and feel confident solving problems.” I enjoy mathematics and I love explaining it in simple ways. I teach because I believe math doesn’t have to be scary with the right approach, anyone can understand and do well.

I always start with ensuring that the basic concepts are well-understood. After explaining a concept, I’ll give you time to practice it on your own. I’ll walk you through the first few problems, but then I’ll encourage you to try similar problems on your own. I recommend 1 to 1.5 hours per lesson and I am focusing for primary and secondary students.
