About Sarai
Hi there, my name is Sarai and I'm a maths tutor with a love for teaching. I graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2013 with a degree in Mathematics. I tutor primary, GCSE, and A-Level maths. My teaching philosophy is centred on building confidence in my students. I believe that if my students feel comfortable and confident with the material, they will perform better and achieve more. I work hard to create a supportive and positive learning environment where my students feel empowered to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn at their own pace. Whether your child needs help with basic maths concepts, or you're a student preparing for A-Level exams, I'm here to help. My goal is to make maths fun and accessible for everyone. I look forward to working with you!

During our initial session, my main focus will be to understand your unique learning style, goals, and areas of concern in maths. This knowledge will enable me to create a tailored plan that will address your specific needs. Each session will typically include a combination of instructions on solving maths problems, worked examples, and worksheets. You can bring any maths problems you are having trouble with to your lessons and I will be more than happy to help. As we progress, I will incorporate exam practice using past papers and exam board mark schemes. Additionally, I will provide you with revision tips and advice to ensure that you are well-prepared for your exams.
