About Maahed
University. My academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in subjects such as Applied Calculus, Discrete Mathematics, and Introduction to Computing. This rigorous education has not only honed my problem-solving skills but also instilled in me a deep appreciation for the value of education.
Throughout my educational path, I have been committed to academic excellence. During my high school years, I successfully completed A 'Levels and O 'Levels with the help of scholarships that covered 100% of my tuition. In addition to my academic pursuits, I served as the Vice-Captain of the school's Cricket team, demonstrating leadership, teamwork, and discipline.
One of the most rewarding experiences in my educational journey has been my involvement in tutoring and educational outreach. As an Instructor at an elementary school, I had the privilege of delivering comprehensive Mathematics and Science instruction to underprivileged students. I witnessed the transformative power of education in their lives and its potential to uplift communities.
During my time as a peer tutor at my high school's tutoring club, I actively contributed to fostering a healthy learning environment and helping fellow students achieve their academic goals. These experiences have further ignited my passion for education and inspired me to pursue a career as a tutor.
I also had the opportunity to intern at the National Financial Literacy Program for Youth, where I actively raised financial literacy through seminars, guest sessions, and social media campaigns. This experience has enhanced my communication skills and the ability to engage with students in an informative and engaging manner.
In addition to my educational and tutoring experiences, I possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for educational materials, and familiarity with Canva for creating engaging teaching resources. I am dedicated to providing personalized and effective tutoring services to help students achieve their full potential.

As a tutor, I chose to teach mathematics, particularly Mathematics (Basic Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, ACT/SAT Math, Discrete Mathematics, Linear Algebra, and Applied Mathematics because of my strong background in these areas, including a high SAT mathematics score and enrollment in a computer science program, which heavily relies on mathematical concepts. This enables me to help students build a solid math foundation and excel in more advanced topics. In high school (A' Levels), where I was also the director of the mathematics club, I developed a deep appreciation for mathematics and cultivated a passion for teaching it. My strong performance in O Levels of Mathematics and Additional Mathematics further solidified my expertise in these subjects.
I also selected physics and physical sciences as subjects to teach, given my academic background with A Levels in Physics and transfer credits for fundamental physics courses. These subjects align with my academic pursuits and allow students to explore the fascinating world of science and its real-world applications.
Additionally, I have chosen to teach statistics, as it complements my computer science program and is a critical skill in various fields, including data analysis and computer science. My background in Mathematics and A Levels Further Mathematics provides a strong foundation for teaching statistics.
While I have a strong foundation in these subjects, I believe that teaching is an opportunity to share knowledge and a chance to continue learning and growing in my understanding of these disciplines.
