About Bradly
I've been teaching for 16 years. I was fortunate enough to discover my calling early in life and I have never looked back. I've had experience with children of all ages and am absolutely passionate about what I do.
I've worked in both public and private school environments but I find that teaching one-on-one is where I can make the most impact.

Is your child struggling with maths or numeracy? Is your child bored with their school work and needs something a little more challenging? I can help!
My philosophy is this: connect with the child's soul, and learning will happen naturally. Sometimes all children need is someone to be their friend. I don't just teach facts, I find out what makes them tick and build them up from there. My lessons often include Minecraft, Pokemon, stories and riddles. What's the point of learning if you can't have fun with it?

What curriculum do you follow?
While I am familiar with the entire national curriculum, my sessions remain adaptive and dynamic. I do not have a one-size-fits-all set of lessons that I teach. Each child has his or her own set of challenges and I adjust my lessons accordingly. I also do not limit my teaching to the methods set out in the curriculum, but I expand and teach various methods to increase overall understanding.
What can my child expect during a lesson?
My sessions usually follow a 40-20 format. 40 minutes of work, 20 minutes of games. Gaming is an essential part of my lesson. Not only does it serve as a reward for their hard work, but it also allows us to connect on a more social level. In my experience, children respond better if they see me not only as their teacher, but also as their friend.
Research clearly shows that learning happens naturally when a child has fun. My emphasis is therefore always on making my lessons not only highly engaging, but also super fun.
That said, as children get older their need for the gaming part decreases as their motivation to get better marks increases. Most my high school students don't have game time at all.
My child isn't struggling, but is getting bored and needs to be extended, can you help?
Absolutely! My enrichment sessions focus on building children's natural interests. I can show them advanced Maths, game making and coding, graphic design, sound editing and more. Together, we can explore their interests and abilities. It just depends on how far down the rabbit hole they want to go.
