About Matthew
I have been a Maths Teacher in East London for 5 years. I grew up in East London myself and studied Maths and French at Royal Holloway. After graduating, I spent 4 years working in both the private and charity sector as a digital analyst, providing real-world experience of using mathematics and statistics in the workplace. I then left this to begin my career as a teacher, where I have loved getting to work with young people and supporting their development inside and outside the classroom. Outside of work, I am a keen runner and recently ran the London marathon for charity.

Based on an initial conversation to find out more about your child and their learning needs, I'm happy to offer lessons both aligned with your child's schoolwork or more general revision/catch-up style sessions. As well as this, I can offer lessons based on working towards a particular grade, for example "aiming for grade 9" where we explore how to approach more complex problems. I can also offer "preparing for A Level" sessions where we cover the key content your child will be expected to be comfortable with before starting their A Level studies.
