About Zainul
With over 150 hours of tutoring experience since 2021, I’ve had the privilege of guiding students from Year 7 to Year 10, including advanced levels (5.1/5.2). I’ve worked hard to help my students not only improve their grades but also build their confidence and love for mathematics. Seeing my students succeed and hearing their positive feedback has been incredibly rewarding.
Throughout my teaching journey, I’ve had the opportunity to work with students from esteemed schools like Peter Moyes Anglican, Alpha Omega Senior College, Brigidine Girls St Ives, and East Hills Girls High School. I adapt my teaching methods to meet each student’s unique needs, ensuring they feel supported, engaged, and motivated to overcome challenges.
Currently, I’m pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), which allows me to connect math concepts to real-world applications. My experience also includes working as a teaching support at East Hills Boys High School, where I was invited to assist due to my ability to communicate effectively and connect with students.
I offer Group Mathematics classes for Years 7-10 at just $25 per hour, providing an engaging environment where students can learn alongside their peers, fostering healthy competition and collaborative problem-solving. For students who prefer personalized support, I also offer one-to-one lessons for $45 per hour, ensuring tailored guidance for individual needs.
For Years 11 and 12, my rates are $50 per hour for one-to-one sessions, and $30 per hour for group classes, providing comprehensive support for senior students tackling advanced math concepts.
My goal isn’t to charge high rates for one-to-one lessons but to keep them accessible and affordable for those who need personalized help. However, I highly recommend group classes as they offer the same quality of lessons while encouraging peer interaction and competitive spirit, which can significantly boost learning outcomes. That said, one-to-one sessions are available upon special request for students who require extra attention or prefer individual learning.
