About Lakshan
Hello! I’m Lakshan, a dedicated tutor with a strong background in both Mathematics and Computing. I hold a Master’s degree in Computing and Technology from Northumbria University, London, and I have over 10 years of experience in problem-solving, logical reasoning, and applied mathematics through my work as a Software Engineer.
I offer Maths lessons for GCSE and A-Level students, focusing on building understanding, confidence, and exam success. I also support adult learners who want to refresh or improve their maths skills for study, work, or personal growth.

In our lessons, I begin by understanding your current level and learning goals. I often use a short diagnostic test to identify strengths and areas for improvement, then create a personalised plan.
Each session combines explanation, worked examples, and practice problems. I encourage students to think through problems step by step and develop independent problem-solving skills. Between lessons, I provide practice tasks to reinforce learning.
My aim is not just to prepare you for exams, but to help you see the patterns and logic in Maths, so you feel confident tackling any question.
