About Sarah
I have a Mathematics degree from King’s College London and 10 years of experience tutoring students of all ages and abilities, both privately and in the classroom. Whether you’re preparing for GCSEs or A-levels, working towards entrance exams, or simply looking to improve your confidence, I tailor every lesson to your individual needs.
One of the most rewarding parts of tutoring is seeing a student’s confidence grow. Maths can feel overwhelming, but with the right support and approach, it becomes much more manageable. My goal is not just to help students achieve strong results, but to help them develop a genuine understanding of the subject and the confidence to tackle problems independently.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and focus on building a solid understanding of the subject rather than simply memorising methods. I believe that once the fundamentals are clear, more challenging topics become much easier to tackle.
I adapt my teaching style to suit each student, whether they need help filling knowledge gaps, preparing for exams, or building confidence in maths. My aim is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, make steady progress, and leave each lesson with a clearer understanding than when they arrived.
