About Emmett
I am a Math tutor with over five years of teaching experience and a BA in Mathematics. My academic background is strongly rooted in topology and knot theory. I enjoy helping students understand how shapes and spaces behave under continuous change. These ideas may seem abstract at first, but I make them clear using visual aids, diagrams, and simple models. I often connect concepts to real-world examples, such as molecular structures, braided materials, and natural patterns. This approach helps students build strong intuition before moving to formal proofs. I work closely with students who are curious about abstract mathematics. Many of my learners also come from physics and art backgrounds. I encourage creative thinking while maintaining mathematical rigor. Lessons are structured, interactive, and concept-focused. I guide students to ask meaningful questions and develop proof-based reasoning. My goal is to help students explore a branch of mathematics where intuition meets precision and curiosity leads to deep understanding.

My teaching approach in Maths is focused on clarity, structure, and confidence building. I believe every student can understand maths when concepts are explained in the right way. My lessons cover algebra, calculus, data interpretation, graphing techniques, statistical analysis, probability, and numerical trend analysis for research work. I pay special attention to students who feel anxious or uncomfortable with maths. I create a supportive space where mistakes are part of learning. I guide students to think like analysts, not just problem solvers. Real data examples are used to improve interpretation and reasoning skills. I constantly challenge students to go beyond basics and aim higher. With steady guidance and practice, students grow confident and achieve strong results in quantitative reasoning.
