About Chris
Hi, I am Chris!
With a unique path shaped by over two decades of living internationally and a lifetime of curiosity, I am completely self-taught, having mastered my craft through relentless hands-on experience, real-world trial and error, and countless hours of troubleshooting what I learned on YouTube. That background taught me an essential truth: the best way to learn is by doing, experimenting, and diving straight into practical application.
Balancing life as a dedicated family man—raising four kids alongside my wife—has also taught me patience, adaptability, and how to connect with people from all walks of life. When I am not behind a camera, you will likely find me outside playing ultimate frisbee or fueling up with a great cup of coffee.
My true professional passion lies in documentary-style filmmaking and storytelling through photography. Portraits are my absolute favorite because a great portrait does more than just capture a likeness—it looks into the soul of the subject and tells a genuine, human story. I bring that same authentic, narrative-driven approach to every lesson, helping you find your own creative voice and turn your vision into striking, professional imagery.
