About Rob
I am a music producer, based in London with over 9 years of music production experience in composition, songwriting, mix and master engineering and creative innovation within the studio. I have been producing on Logic Pro from a young age, with a diverse range of musical influence including being classically trained in guitar and piano, but also a more contemporary style with experience producing in House, Pop, Rob, Electronic and many more weird and wonderful things. Having begun teaching 4 years ago, I have logged 100+ hours of tutorage

My teaching method is one that focuses on learning as you do. Operating specifically in Logic Pro X, I encourage my students to be able to showcase their work and be able to critically discuss it from both a creative intention point of view as well as articulating the reasons behind their creative decisions. I believe that an apt understanding of music production and why certain techniques produce unique outcomes can allow my students to make more effective decisions. This will benefit not only the quality of their pieces but also their workflow, which is key for a modern-day music producer. My lessons can take a variety of different forms depending on the area which you hope to improve; starting tracks from scratch, breaking down your own tracks as well as other tracks, teaching you to understand mixing and mastering and most importantly how to hone in on your own artistic sound.

Rob is a really friendly and patient tutor, I'm a bit of a newbie to music production but he's shown me all the fundamentals and explained everything so clearly. He's taken me through some of his projects which I've found incredibly helpful and right now we're working on a track of my own. Great tutor!
Rob's teaching was great! He fixed constant latency problems that I was having and helped me progress my basic ideas into full tracks. He was always consistent in his communication and he set goals after every session so that I always had something to work on. Couldn't ask for a better tutor!
