About Emma
My name is Emma and I am from New Zealand.
I have a real passion for teaching and I enjoy watching my students grow confident in their abilities.
I can speak Japanese, and learning a foreign language myself, has given me the experience needed to help you further your own language learning journey.

I believe language learning is less about speaking perfectly, and more about just speaking. The perfect comes later, don't be afraid to make mistakes! It is how we learn.
Each lesson is 50 minutes long and is personalised to you. You can either come armed with a topic you want to speak about, or I can provide you with a lesson to work through.
I am happy to help you with IELTS or Eiken test preparation.
Student levels are anywhere from Beginner to Intermediate.
I taught English to kids and adults in Japan for four years and loved every minute of it!
I can also speak Japanese if you are worried about the language barrier.
