About Mia
I have been brought up by my English mum and my German dad, which means I speak both languages equally as well. I love working, playing and learning with children. During my time at secondary school I tutored a lot (Latin, German, English and Maths) and babysat in my free time. Since graduating in 2018 I have been working as a substitute art teacher at my old Grammar school as well as tutoring. I worked as a nanny / tutor for a lovely nine-year-old girl in 2020. Since the beginning academic year (Sep 22) I have been fortunate enough to work as a part-time art teacher in for a local humanistic Grammar School (High School). While I am completing my Art Pedagogy MA online, I would love to get into tutoring again having moved to Bristol, UK.

I would love to help you / your child enjoy learning a language, whether it is German or English as a Second Language. Understanding language structure and grammar and practising it in a playful, fun way putting it into use is the basis of that.
