About Rafa
I was born and raised in the Lazio region of Italy, where I developed a deep connection to the Italian language, culture and history. My education in Italy provided me with a solid foundation in Italian grammar and vocabulary, as well as a thorough understanding of the country’s rich heritage.
After moving to the UK during high school, I discovered a passion for languages and became fluent in three languages, with two more currently in progress. This experience has given me unique insights into the language-learning process, enabling me to help my students overcome challenges and build confidence.
As a native Italian speaker with a strong educational background and experience in interpreting, I offer a holistic approach to teaching. My lessons go beyond the textbook, incorporating real-world language use and cultural context. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I am dedicated to helping you achieve fluency and a deeper appreciation for Italian.

I offer an immersive and practical approach to learning Italian. Qualifications and Experience
I hold a Grade 9 in GCSE Italian and a Grade A at A-Level, with years of formal study in Italian grammar and vocabulary. My experience as an interpreter, combined with my deep understanding of Italian culture allows me to create lessons that are both educational and culturally enriching.
