About Gia
As a licensed PreK–3 teacher with ten years of classroom experience, I bring patience, structure, and creativity to every session. I am Orton-Gillingham certified and specialize in the science of reading, helping young learners build a strong foundation in reading, writing, and math. My approach combines engaging games, repetition, and multisensory techniques that make learning fun while boosting confidence. I take pride in meeting each child where they are and helping them grow into confident, independent learners.

I believe learning should be fun, engaging, and tailored to each child’s needs. I use a science of reading approach grounded in Orton-Gillingham methods, combining multisensory techniques, games, and repetition to help concepts truly stick. My lessons are designed for PreK–3 students and focus on building strong foundations in reading, writing, and math while keeping confidence and curiosity at the heart of every session.
A typical lesson includes a quick warm-up game, direct, structured instruction, and hands-on practice through interactive activities that make learning enjoyable. What sets me apart as a tutor is my five years of classroom experience as a licensed early childhood teacher and my ability to turn challenging skills into exciting, achievable goals for young learners.
