About Jacob
I have a degree in philosophy, politics, and economics from Oxford University. I currently work full time as a tutor and in my spare time I am studying Arabic and religious law. I have worked as a tutor for five years and taught dozens of students.

My teaching method is essentially about dialogue and I guide the student through all the mental steps necessary to completely understand a topic, regularly checking their understanding by asking questions. I emphasise that knowledge is interconnected and open-ended and try to inspire genuine interest.
