About Simon
I am a qualified teacher, having trained at Spencer Academies Trust, a Top 10 National Teacher Training provider.
I have a genuine passion for Science, and have a first-class Degree and Master’s qualifications in Science subjects.
I have experience teaching Science to ages 11 - 18 and students of all abilities.
I have real life laboratory research experience, which I try and embed into my teaching practice as much as possible.
I am a specialist in KS3 and GCSE Science.

I believe that teaching and tutoring should be driven by research best practice, and I aim for this to underpin my teaching practice.
I believe the relationship between tutor and tutee is important in creating a positive learning environment. I therefore believe the first session should be free, to find out if we are a good fit and can work well together going forward.
I am believe that there is no substitute for hard work and persistence, and I try to instill this philosophy when teaching and tutoring.
