About Christopher
I hold a B.S. in Astrophysics from the University of New Mexico and bring a decade of educational experience to my tutoring sessions. Over the past 10 years, I have worked extensively as both a one-on-one tutor and a classroom teacher, including time instructing within Albuquerque Public Schools. This dynamic background has equipped me with a deep understanding of standard curricula and the ability to adapt my instructional strategies seamlessly, ensuring high-quality, engaging lessons whether we are working together in person or online. My Teaching Method and Techniques

A Typical Lesson Plan
Structure drives progress, so our sessions will follow a clear rhythm designed to maximize retention:
The Warm-Up (10 minutes): Reviewing previous material, tackling lingering questions from homework, and solidifying past concepts.
Concept Deep-Dive (30 minutes): Introducing new material through direct instruction and collaborative problem-solving. We work through examples together, focusing on methodology and error-checking.
Independent Application (20 minutes): You take the wheel. I step back and observe as you solve problems independently, stepping in only to guide your logic and correct misconceptions in real-time. We end by setting clear goals for the next session.
