About Sawyer
I am a dedicated Physics tutor with over 8 years of experience guiding students through challenging topics. I hold a BSc in Space and Planetary Science and enjoy exploring how physical laws shape our universe. Physics is fascinating.
My lessons are designed for students preparing for IGCSE and A-Level Physics examinations. I focus on building a strong understanding before moving to complex problems. Clear concepts lead to better results.
Key topics such as Mechanics, Electricity, and Waves are explained step by step. I guide students through full derivations to help them understand how equations are formed. This improves problem-solving confidence.

My teaching approach focuses on building curiosity and confidence in Physics. Many students find equations intimidating, so I begin by explaining the ideas behind them using everyday examples and simple storytelling.
Lessons often explore familiar situations such as moving vehicles, sound vibrations, light reflection, and energy transfer. These examples help students connect physics principles to real-world experiences they already understand.
To make concepts clearer, I use diagrams, visual explanations, and small demonstrations that illustrate how physical processes occur. I also include discussions about famous discoveries and the scientists who helped shape our understanding of the universe.
Students preparing for aviation or physics competitions receive additional conceptual challenges. Their logical reasoning and analytical thinking are strengthened through deeper discussions and carefully designed problems.
