About Fabian
I am a devoted musician who has played in bands and orchestras my whole life. Piano and music is my true passion and I always wanted to play like the artists I listened to as a child. Unfortunately all my piano tutors were mostly interested in grades and classical music so I had to teach myself all of my favourite music myself. Since then I have mastered the contemporary style of piano and I would love to be able to share this skill!

My lessons focus on you playing your favourite songs right from the first lesson. My aim is not to teach grades or that much classical piano but to start with simple pop songs that will get you enjoying playing your piano right from the start.
I like to take a holistic approach when teaching music theory, each new song we learn will introduce another aspect to piano playing and songwriting until you comfortable with not only playing your favourite songs but also writing your own music yourself!

Perfect! Fabian gave a really fun and engaging lesson to my 8 year old. He has a simple and effective approach to teaching contemporary music, taking a song and breaking it down into chords and then using that to teach about music. He pitched the lesson at the perfect level for him, explained things clearly and by the end of the hour Jonah could play a whole song. He left us with a song sheet and chord/note diagrams for reference. We will definitely be having more lessons from him.
