About Paige
I’ve spent much of my life surrounded by music — playing, performing, and teaching. My love for piano began as a child, and over the years it has grown into a lifelong passion that I now share with others. My teaching philosophy centres on patience and encouragement. I help each student progress at their own pace while maintaining excitement and curiosity for learning. I value connection above perfection, and I see every lesson as an opportunity to help students discover their unique musical voice. When I’m not teaching, I compose music and perform in small ensembles, constantly exploring new styles and techniques. These experiences bring fresh inspiration to my lessons, allowing me to guide students with both artistic depth and real-world musical understanding.

My piano lessons focus on helping students build both technical skill and expressive understanding, allowing them to connect emotionally with every piece they play. I believe the piano should never feel intimidating — it should feel like a friend, a voice for creativity and reflection. Beginners start with foundational techniques such as finger strength, rhythm, and notation reading. As students advance, we explore phrasing, tone control, and dynamic shaping to enhance musicality. I also include ear training and music theory in lessons, ensuring each learner develops a strong foundation for artistic freedom. Each session is personalised to the student’s level and interest, blending classical repertoire with modern compositions when appropriate. My teaching encourages discipline, self-expression, and mindfulness, helping students experience music as both a technical pursuit and a journey of emotional growth.
