About Faye
With more than 14+ years of teaching experience, I specialise in helping students from school, college, and professional backgrounds develop their piano skills effectively. I believe that every student can learn piano when taught with patience, clarity, and encouragement.
My teaching methodology is adaptable, as I design lessons according to each student’s level, goals, and learning style. I focus on building strong fundamentals such as finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, and sight-reading, while gradually introducing music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to strengthen overall musicianship.
Lessons are interactive and practical, often including song-based exercises, creative improvisation, and performance preparation. I aim to help students overcome challenges, build confidence, and develop consistent practice routines.
My ultimate goal is to provide a motivating, positive, and inspiring environment where students can grow as skilled and confident pianists while enjoying the learning process.

My teaching philosophy focuses on student-centred learning. I believe every student has their own pace, interests, and strengths. By communicating openly, I understand what motivates them and where they need guidance. Creativity is encouraged in every lesson, from experimenting with melodies to trying out improvisation. Flexibility ensures that each lesson is adapted to the student’s level, making learning enjoyable and stress-free.
Along with piano, I include lessons in music theory, rhythm, sight-reading, and ear training. This helps students build a strong foundation while also exploring their personal musical expression. My goal is to help students grow into confident, skilled, and creative musicians.
