About Anthonia
Hello, I’m Anthonia Ogochukwu, a dedicated educator with nearly 7 years of classroom teaching experience. I also hold an HND in Textile Design, a background that has shaped the way I observe, create, and solve problems.
Textile Design taught me to pay close attention to details—from distinguishing subtle changes in color and tone to patiently working with fine threads and intricate processes. These experiences developed my patience, precision, creativity, and ability to work carefully through challenges, qualities that I bring into my teaching.
Over the years, I have worked with young learners with different personalities, learning styles, and levels of understanding. This has taught me to be patient, observant, flexible, and attentive to each child’s individual needs.
I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, encouraged, and genuinely involved in the learning process. As a tutor, I bring patience, creativity, warmth, and commitment to every lesson while maintaining a professional approach and creating a positive learning environment for each child.

Hello, I’m Anthonia, an experienced Primary Mathematics Tutor with nearly 7 years of classroom teaching experience. I teach children aged 5–12 at the primary level, helping them understand Mathematics rather than simply memorizing procedures.
My lessons are practical, interactive, and adapted to each child’s pace and learning needs. I use everyday materials, drawings, stories, examples, and guided activities to make mathematical ideas easier to understand and remember.
Lessons typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the child’s age, attention span, and learning needs. My goal is to build understanding, confidence, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude towards Mathematics.
I offer lessons online and at home, with online tutoring being my preferred option.
