About Jacquie
I have been teaching English in British schools for over 20 years. As well as this, I have tutored over students from the age of 4 to 28.
Success is not something that is always quantifiable by qualifications and certificates. None the less, I have had:
*2 Special Educations Needs students pass Entrance Exams for Independent schools
*Non-readers (who were resistant learners) learn to read and develop fluency within 2 terms
*An adult Canadian-French native develop fluency and confidence in his spoken English

Hello, I am a British native, and have been teaching English for over twenty years, to students from Early Years, to 25+, for educational, leisure and work purposes. My lessons are well structured, and students are encouraged to develop their oral and written skills at their own pace.
Empathy and praise are the keys to making progress in learning. I believe in supporting students by being positive, setting realistic goals which enable students to reflect on their strengths, while transforming their weaknesses; through inspired repetition and practise.
