About Phillip
I am a Registered Nurse and Nurse Educator based in Perth with experience supporting nursing students to develop safe, confident clinical practice. My professional background includes working in both clinical healthcare settings and nursing education, where I teach and mentor pre-registration nursing students.
I am currently undertaking a PhD focused on healthcare education, with a strong interest in clinical reasoning, simulation-based learning, and helping students translate theory into safe patient care. I understand the challenges students face during study, exams, and clinical placements, and I aim to provide clear, supportive guidance to help build both knowledge and confidence.
Students can expect a professional, supportive learning environment focused on improving understanding, critical thinking, and preparation for clinical practice. My goal is to help nursing students succeed academically while developing the skills needed to become safe and capable healthcare professionals.
