As a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) working daily within the school system, I bring a unique, evidence-based approach to teaching English. My background in Communication Sciences and Disorders allows me to break down language concepts—such as phonics, articulation, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and sentence structure—into clear, manageable steps tailored to your learning style. A typical session begins with a quick review to build momentum, moves into interactive activities targeting your specific language goals, and wraps up with functional application to ensure real-world confidence.
What sets my lessons apart is a dynamic, high-energy environment built on my background as a former Division I student-athlete, where coaching, structure, and positive reinforcement come together to make learning enjoyable. Whether you are a young student building foundational literacy and communication skills, or a learner looking to improve expressive language and confidence in the classroom, my goal is to make every session engaging, supportive, and effective.
