About JS
15+ years experience teaching and tutoring. Courses are standard. If you provide your class syllabus, tutoring will be geared to that. Solid chemistry and mathematics to support biology, pre-medical, pre-nursing, and allied medical classes. Specialist in getting students to use critical thinking. Fluent in French and English. Bachelor's in biology, minor in French, M.S. and Ph.D. in Botany/Plant Science/Plant Pathology. Experience teaching pre-medical, pre-nursing, allied medical, edible wild foods, mycology, plant and forest pathology, gerontology, SUNY Oswego, Iowa State University, University of NH, Harvard University, on scholarships and assistantships. Tutored European, African, Asian, Australian, and North and South American students. Content of lessons is customized to each student's needs and goals. I am strict but will bend over backward to help you if you are studying hard. One student from Hungary tutored via Skype got the top score on his University exams.
