About Dahshan
About Me
I’m a third-year medical student at the JMP, University of Newcastle (UON) with a strong academic background in the sciences and a passion for teaching. Throughout my studies, I’ve developed a deep understanding of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, along with the problem-solving and analytical skills needed to succeed in exams.
I’m particularly good at breaking down complex scientific concepts into clear, logical steps that are easy to understand. As someone who is also skilled in technology and coding, I use structured explanations and smart learning strategies to help students learn more efficiently, not just memorize content.
Outside of medicine, I am a high-rated chess player, which has strengthened my logical thinking, patience, and ability to plan ahead — skills that translate directly into effective teaching and exam preparation.
My goal as a tutor is to help students build confidence, think critically, and approach science questions with clarity and strategy. I tailor each lesson to the student’s level, learning style, and goals, creating a supportive environment where students can genuinely improve.

I know this tutor well as we went to the same school. He is really hard working and was dux of his year. He has been dedicated to helping HSC students like myself since graduating, and has volunteered with RESN creating many physics lesson from scratch. He is also a big fan of Sal Khan from khan academy, and he likes to pose challenging questions to engage the student. He has on some occasions discussed with about TED riddles which he found interesting!
