About Carla
Hello! I am Carla Conrad, a professional singer-songwriter from South Africa, currently living in Nossen.
Music is my absolute passion, and I look forward to sharing this enthusiasm with you online!
My Background and Experience:Over 10 years of live and songwriting experience: I have performed for years as a professional musician live in luxury hotels and at international festivals (including the renowned Grand Hyatt Doha).
Awards: I am a proud recipient of the 2025 SAMRO Music Fund Scholarship.
Stage Presence: In my career, I have already opened concerts for well-known artists, such as the famous South African singer Jo Black.

My teaching is especially patient and empathetic. It is important to me to create a relaxed feel-good atmosphere where you can learn without pressure and discover your creative voice.

About My LessonsAs an experienced artist, I focus on a fun, practical, and hands-on approach.We will not get stuck in dry theory. Instead, we learn through the music you love, moving at your own comfortable pace.
- Structure of a 45-Minute Lesson
My lessons are fully customizable based on your goals.
You can choose to focus on just one single instrument or combine them:
-Option A (Single Focus): We spend the full 45 minutes focusing solely on one instrument—either beginner guitar or singing technique.
-Option B (The Songwriter Package): We combine guitar, singing, and songwriting to help you write, play, and sing your own original music.
-A typical 45-minute session includes:
First 5–10 Minutes: Warm-up. Quick vocal exercises or guitar finger-stretching to get ready.
Next 25–30 Minutes: The Main Focus. Hands-on practice of chords, vocal techniques, or lyric writing depending on your chosen path.
Last 5 Minutes:
Wrap-up and Next Steps. We review what you learned and set a small, fun goal for you to practice.
