About Victor
Hi! I'm Victor, a UK-based singer and songwriter. I have been teaching singing, guitar and music theory to people of various ages ands skill levels for over 12 years now. During this period, I have obtained experience as a recording and touring musician, as well as a B.Mus degree in my home country and a Master's in Popular Music Studies from the University of Glasgow. And to this day, helping other people understand and express themselves through music remains my biggest passion.
Having been a music practitioner my whole life, I understand the process of learning music can be daunting. That's why I believe patience and empathy are core traits of a good music teacher, which I will always bring to our lessons.

My lessons typically last for 50-60 minutes, which will always be entirely dedicated to helping you play the type(s) of music that interest you the most. I will always begin by asking what your preferred genres and artists are, and this will help us set a realistic plan for how to develop your musicianship and playing ability.
Typically, around 10-20 minutes of our lessons will be dedicated to isolated exercises, which will help us properly warm up and address specific topics in your development, be it chords, scales, speed, endurance, improvisation or even songwriting.
Then, the largest portion of the lessons will be dedicated to actual playing. We will typically work on one or two pieces per lesson. I will attentively listen to you play, and with my keen analytical ear will help you develop the skills you need to execute the pieces to a high level.
