About Zach
Tutoring Spanish for the past 6 years has allowed me to work with over 150 students, each with their own story, goals, and learning style. What I’ve learned is that success in Spanish comes down to one thing: personalized support. I specialize in helping high school and college students build the confidence and competence they need to succeed academically and use Spanish beyond the classroom. Whether you’re struggling with verb tenses, need help understanding reading passages, or just want to improve your pronunciation, I create lessons that target your needs and move at your pace. I incorporate a lot of spoken practice because I believe communication is the heart of language learning. We’ll role-play real situations, write and revise short conversations, and even decode memes and social media posts in Spanish. I also bring in culture as often as possible so you’re not just learning how to speak Spanish—you’re learning how to connect with people who live and breathe it. One student I worked with was preparing for a trip to South America. By the end of our sessions, they were comfortable asking for directions, ordering food, and chatting with locals. That kind of preparation makes all the difference. I’d love to help you get there, too.
