My instruction is grounded in the Communicative Method, creating a dynamic, supportive environment where students actively use Spanish from the very first lesson. Learning takes place in a relaxed yet academically rigorous setting that builds both confidence and fluency.
All lesson plans are carefully designed in alignment with the standards of the Real Academia Española (RAE), ensuring linguistic accuracy, authenticity, and academic integrity.
Each session is thoughtfully structured and adapted to the student’s proficiency level. A typical lesson includes:
Interactive greetings and conversational warm-up
Practical language recall (today’s date, yesterday and tomorrow, weather discussion)
“Today’s Question” and “Today’s Word” to expand vocabulary and critical thinking
Focused instruction on the core topic of the day
Students take an active role throughout the lesson, engaging in guided speaking practice, discussion, and applied activities. When appropriate, multimedia resources such as short videos are incorporated to deepen comprehension and cultural understanding.
In addition, carefully curated cultural capsules enrich the learning experience, connecting language with real-world Hispanic contexts and global awareness.
Consistent homework and structured review are an integral part of the program. Research consistently demonstrates that reinforcement outside the classroom significantly accelerates retention and mastery.
