About ENRIQUE
Hello! I’m Enrique, a philosopher by profession and a passionate teacher of Spanish. My approach to teaching centers on understanding the “why” behind the language. I believe that when we know why something is said one way and not another, learning becomes easier and more natural. I often draw comparisons to the student’s native language, making Spanish feel familiar and accessible right from the start.
With an extensive background in Spanish, I can guide you through verb conjugations, grammar essentials, and the nuances that make Spanish both logical and easy to grasp. Unlike other languages, Spanish has a straightforward set of rules. Once we tackle verb conjugations together, you’ll find them surprisingly manageable and intuitive.
In addition to my love for teaching, I have a strong foundation in business and strategic planning, which brings a unique perspective to my lessons. My first job was as a high school teacher over 30 years ago, and since then, I’ve always found ways to stay connected with students and learning.
