With a degree in Early Childhood Education with a specialization in reading and years of experience as a teacher, I understand how to meet students where they are and help them grow. As a tutor, I lead with love, patience, and understanding. I believe in creating a supportive learning environment where every child feels confident and capable.
A typical lesson begins with a review of what we’re working on, followed by beginner questions to build self-esteem. Then, we gently progress to more challenging tasks to encourage growth.
My approach is always positive—mistakes are a natural part of learning, and we celebrate them as opportunities to improve.
I specialize in working with K-2 students, particularly those who need extra support in reading, literacy, and foundational skills, but I am also experienced in helping students up to 5th grade with all subjects.
My goal is to help every child move forward at their own pace while developing a love for learning.
