I am a Data Engineer working for a very reputable public sector organisation. I have a long and successful track record of implementing and maintaining sensitive data solutions, having a first-hand understanding of principles that will be invaluable to any beginner wishing to navigate themselves in this turbulent vocation.
I have additional specific skills I wish to share which include Microsoft Access (including Visual Basic for Applications), SQL Server Management Studio and Visual Studio SQL Server Data Tools.

I have a practical teaching style, meaning each lesson will have a specific goal in mind. The goal will be set by the student, and the subsequent lessons will be planned by me.
Example 1: A student may request a lesson on T-SQL basics. The lessons will be a practical demonstration of SQL statements, such as DDL (Data Definition Language such as CREATE, ALTER, DROP and TRUNCATE) and DML (Data Manipulation Language such as SELECT, UPDATE, DELETE and INSERT).
Example 2: A student wishes to understand and know how to plan a relational database. The lessons will be a practical demonstration of the principles behind keys and relationships, including the SQL statements commonly used when implementing a design.
